2. Name three articles, one from each of the three journals you chose.
- Newsweek:"Beyond Just Black and White"
- Chemical and Engineering News: "Improve your Engineering I.Q."
- Journal of Chemical Ecology: "Extraction of Phenolic Compounds From Fresh Leaves"
3. What are the major differences among these articles?
- The major difference between these articles are they all have different meanings for each one, for example one has to do with people and their race, the other is about engineering and the other about chemicals.
4. What are the major differences among these periodicals?
-The difference between these periodicals is simply each book contains information just about that subject nothing else. They provide information that is useful for any type of search within that subject.

-I choose the Britannica Online database.
2. What terms did you enter to conduct your search?
- I used the terms "greenhouse gas".
3. How many results did you retrieve?
- I retrieved 145 results.
4. If there were more than about 100 results, how did you refine your search terms to narrow your results?
- I used "house gases" to narrow my results.
5. Once you got your results to around 100 (or fewer), how did you determine they were meaningful?
- I had to read the descriptions of what was given adn seen if it had anything to do with greenhouse gases.
6. Which article did you choose? Give the bibliographic information for that article (I must be able to access this article).
- I chose the article "Environment"

- I had results of 7125.

-I refined my search by putting in "Carbon Dioxide and greenhouse gases".

-I had to add a bit more information to get less results

- They had similar subjects to my search, my main search.

- This article talked about removing greenhouse gases which is exactly what i wanted to know.

- I used the term “greenhouse ” under the title keyword which listed 12 titles.
3. What subject heading did you choose to be sure your item was on target and the best option for your search?
- I chose "Greenhouse gas carbon dioxide mitigation"
4. What item did you eventually choose? Why?
- "Greenhouse gas carbon dioxide mitigation : science and technology" This was the item that eventually was the only on the list that explained my question about greenhouse gases. It tells me everything!
5. Give the bibliographic information for the item you chose.

-Its more specific and detailed on your subject than a book in the stacks.
8. In looking at the material in the book and the publication date in the bibliographic information, what year do you think the information really comes from?
- I believe it really comes from the mid 90's aroun the same time it was published.
